I was introduced to Unity in the early 90s and attended First Church Unity in Nashville. During my first service at Unity, I had the feeling of being at and finding my home. I grew up in a very Southern conservative, evangelical denomination. I learned that church and God was a set of strict rules to follow and God was a white-bearded guy with a big stick in His hands ready to punish me for my actions and even my thoughts. Today, I know there is no separation, I am One with God, with the Universe, with Divine Love. I know the same is true for all of us. |
