Spiritual Practice & weekly classes
We just completed our Spring 2019 SpiritGroups.
We will reboot SpiritGroups again in the Fall 2019.
Localized small groups of like-minded people
What is a SpiritGroup?
The SpiritGroup program is an opportunity for congregants, and newcomers to participate in SpiritGroups once a week located in homes, at Unity or other locations.
The Spring session was called Affirmative Empowering Prayer, facilitated with Rev. Linda Martella-Whitsett and based on her book: How to Pray Without Talking to God.
The SpiritGroups activity was 10-weeks including seven weeks of in-home discussion, with the final three weeks culminating in a selected service project by each individual group & a celebration potluck event for all groups to share their service activity & experiences of community building.
This was a great opportunity to build community while pursuing each individual's spiritual growth!

"Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.
Herein lies the peace of God."
"This is how A Course in Miracles begins. It makes a fundamental distinction between knowledge and perception. Knowledge is the truth, under one law, the law of love or God. Truth is unalterable, eternal and unambiguous. It can be unrecognized, but it cannot be changed. It applies to everything that God created, and only what He created is real. It is beyond learning because it is beyond time and process. It has no opposite, no beginning and no end. It merely is."
New class date to be decided soon!
