Qualified Charitable Distribution from an ira
If you are 70½ or older, you may be able to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to Unity Spiritual Center of Panama City. A QCD can be a meaningful way to support our spiritual community while potentially reducing taxable income. A qualifying QCD may also count toward your required minimum distribution (RMD).
To make an IRA charitable gift, contact your IRA administrator or financial institution and request that the distribution be made directly to Unity Spiritual Center of Panama City. Because the funds must be transferred directly from the IRA to the eligible charitable organization, do not have the distribution made payable to you first.
Please notify us when you have requested an IRA charitable rollover so that we can properly acknowledge your gift.
