What Is a Unity Chaplain?

   . A chaplain is here to support your spiritual journey.

   . A chaplain is someone who can create and hold a sacred space with you.

   . A chaplain is someone who can listen to you and hold what is heard in confidence.

   . A chaplain is someone who can pray with you.

I am a Unity chaplain. How may I pray with you?

 On Sunday mornings our two Chaplains on duty will meet and pray throughout the Church and grounds.

 Then join our Minister and staff for a prayer at 10:45a.m.  They will then sit in the Sanctuary meditating until

 our Service begins.   When the Service begins one Chaplain will come forward and light the candle.

 Towards the end of the service the platform assistant will announce the two Chaplains on duty for that

day, and they will stand so the congregation can see who they are.

  After our Sunday services, we have at least two chaplains available for private prayer. If anyone needs a prayer

  for any reason, a prayer of need or of celebration. Please visit with our chaplains on duty in the sanctuary.

  Each member of Unity of Panama City will receive monthly wellness calls from a chaplain. This will be a phone

  communication to find out how you are and to see if there is any way we can support you in prayer.

  Know that we are here not only to support you in prayer in times of crisis or sorrow, but also to

  celebrate with you in times of joy.  Please note:  Members must return the "annual membership form"

to Paula in order to be placed on our Chaplain list.  If you have not returned that form, you are not on

our active members listing.

These individuals have dedicated their talents, time and treasure to our Chaplain Program for the

past two and three years.  We hold them in our highest prayers for their dedication.

They are the lighthouse that has kept our light shining, and we wish each one of them a

happy and spiritually filled future in all paths they take.
