Panama City Premiere! Jon Miller's
"As A Man Thinketh" Movie
inspired by the classic New Thought book by James Allen
Friday, October 20 at 7 pm
$10 Love Offering
Jon Miller's follow up to his What is New Thought? documentary is an insightful and thought changing docu-drama based on New Thought author James Allen's classic book, As A Man Thinketh.
"With his professional and personal life in turmoil, Jimmy's life takes an unexpected turn as the transformative teachings of an antique book help him realize how his thoughts are, in fact, shaping his world. Insightful documentary interviews with renowned authors, speakers, and ministers are used throughout the film to highlight the powerful message of the book -- that our thoughts are the creative force in our lives."
Filmed in the vein of a What the Bleep Do We Know? style, the film is peppered with inspired conervsations with such new thought luminaries as Rev. Michael Beckwith, Edwene Gaines, Mitch Horowitz, Rev. Sherri James, Faith Rivera, Dr. Joe Vitale and more.
Join us on Friday, October 20 at 7 pm for this stunning venture into the mind of a new thought master.

Annual Fall Unity Hike
Sunday, November 5, after service
Hiking is a wonderful way to experience oneness by connecting with our greatest teacher - NATURE! What better way to do that than to join Unity Spiritual Center for its annual Fall Hike. Led by our very own Brain Skoskie, there will be a total of two hikes both approximately 3 miles each. The first will be a hike from Pitt Springs to Williford Springs and back. The second hike will be in the evening and is located about a mile from the first hike location and has a bit of a more challenging terrain.
We'll meet at the Unity picnic tables right after service. Bring a sack lunch so you can nourish up before hiking. Car pooling would be suitable as the first hike is about an hour's drive. Be sure to bring plenty of water, comfortable clothes and hiking shoes.
Hikes are limited to 20 persons so please sign up in our lobby.
Unity Pet Blessing
Saturday, November 11, 10 am
Our companion animals can be a blessing to us in more ways than we know. Research has shown that merely petting an animal can help reduce stress and high blood pressure. Pet Therapy dogs and cats provide joy and unconditional love to seniors citizens in assisted living and nursing homes, not to mention children in hospitals undergoing Cancer treatment. Military dogs and their handlers form an unshakable bond that lasts long after their tours of duty have ended.
We know your own cat, dog, horse, snake, hamster, bird or whatever - has a special place in your heart and the indelible connection between you is one that cannot be broken.
Join Unity Spiritual Center on Saturday, November 11 at 10 am, as Rev. Jo performs a pet blessing for our beloved companion animals. The blessing will take place on our labyrinth. In case of rain it will be moved inside.
All participants will receive a St. Francis medallion—prayed over by our chaplains—for their pet and a photo of you and your companion animal. (Must have email address to receive photo.)
ANIMAL GUIDELINES FOR THE BLESSING:
